As will all log furniture, it is subject to the natural process of checking, which occurs as the wood releases moisture, and normally happens across or through the annual growth rings. This furniture is constructed from solid cedar, which is naturally resistant to decay and insect damage. This loveseat is shown at the left of the picture. No accessories or cushions are included and some assembly is required. The glider measures 54-inches wide x 35-inches high (40-inches inside) and weighs 70 pounds. The arms are crafted with a slight curved design. The cedar-slatted seat slopes toward the back of the glider, enabling total relaxation. The glider displays curved, cedar slatted seat backs and seats that are rolled at the front for absolute leg support and comfort. Featured here is a wonderful natural white cedar loveseat glider built for two. If you prefer the ripe wood color, these pieces can painted, stained or lacquered to prevent the natural color change.
