As will all log furniture, it is subject to the natural process of checking, which occurs as the wood releases moisture, and normally happens across or through the annual growth rings. This furniture is constructed from solid cedar, which is naturally resistant to decay and insect damage. 3-foot rack not shown. 4-foot log style firewood rack is shown. Some assembly is required. At the top of these posts, on each side, you will see circular cedar posts that not only add style, but add to its overall durability. The four corners are built using cedar posts that are connected to strong cedar rounds at the front, back and sides. This interesting rack is constructed from solid natural white cedar rounded log pieces that have a smooth sanded finish. The rack measures 36-inches wide x 18-inches deep x 27-inches high and weighs 30 pounds. Presented here is a 3-foot log style firewood rack that provides great serviceability while looking great. If you prefer the ripe wood color, these pieces can painted, stained or lacquered to prevent the natural color change. All measurements are approximate.
