As will all log furniture, it is subject to the natural process of checking, which occurs as the wood releases moisture, and normally happens across or through the annual growth rings. This furniture is constructed from solid cedar, which is naturally resistant to decay and insect damage. This glider is shown at the right of the picture. No cushions or accessories are included and some assembly is required. The pacific glider measures 30-inches wide x 35-inches high and weighs 60 pounds. This glider is crafted with a wide cedar base that affords great balance and stability. The front of the seat has been rolled forward while the base of the seat slopes toward the back of the glider, allowing for wonderful support and comfort. The seat back is designed from solid cedar slots that offer a graceful, curved top. This wonderful natural white cedar pacific glider is rustic charm in motion. If you prefer the ripe wood color, these pieces can painted, stained or lacquered to prevent the natural color change. All measurements are approximate.
